				Overview:

The Senior Forklift Operator performs the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Responsible for operating power industrial truck to transport material within the facility. The role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and computers.

*This is a split shift position: 11am to 7:30pm*

Responsibilities:

*  Performs quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments.

*  Possesses full knowledge of all forklift functions within the warehouse to include all outbound, inbound, and inventory functions.

*  Executes ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments.

*  Full knowledge of RF scanners and Warehouse Management System to fulfill role and responsibilities within inbound and outbound functions.

*  Maintains inventory accuracy.

*  Handles and controls hazardous material on both inbound and outbound.

*  Complies with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations.

*  Completes all required safety training and follows protocol in all risk situations.

*  Uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to tasks at hand.

*  Certification on powered industrial trucks sit down, dock stocker and powered pallet jacks.

*  Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.

*  Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.

*  Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 75 pounds.

*  Performs activities to evaluate and maintain equipment.

*  Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

* At least 2 years of experience (specifically as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting or similar environment)

Preferred Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED
* Certification in operating various type of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks)

Key Skills and Competencies:

* Proficiency in operating all industrial forklifts within the facility
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Knowledge of multiple area of functional responsibility (inbound, outbound forklift roles)
* Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility
