About Us: We were established in 2006 with the sole purpose of offering the English language to English learners. The first center opened in Chongqing back in 2006. Since then we have grown to over 2000 teaching and administrative employees nationwide - this includes 350 Foreign English teachers and 400 local Chinese English teachers. We have successfully taught more than 60,000 students since 2006. Each center occupies 1000-2000㎡ and is equipped with state of the art equipment. This includes a coffee bar, theater, library, lab area with many computers with internet access and spacious classrooms that allow students to study in a comfortable and relaxing environment. About Chongqing: Chongqing attracts visitors from home and abroad for its cultural heritage and other tourist attractions. The city is the starting point for the Yangtze River Cruise, which explores the stunning scenery of the Three Gorges. Attractions include the Dazu Rock Carvings - valuable works of art carved during the Ninth Century, Gold Buddhist Mountain- a rich repository of diverse animals and plants, and Fishing Town- one of three ancient battlefields in China. Ancient Ci Qi Kou village lures tourists to linger in its streets to buy handicraft souvenirs. Chongqing is famous for its hot Sichuan cuisine and world-famous hotpot dishes. Street vendors as well as restaurants feature exciting spicy delicacies for the adventurers. Servicing western China, Chongqing provides convenient water, land, and air transportation. You will also find hundreds of star-ranked hotels provide excellent facilities and services. About the Job: Responsibilities of a foreign trainer: -25 teaching hours + 10 office hours per week in terms of the contract -Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity, interest, and abilities of students. -Guides the learning process toward the achievement of established district curriculum goals, establishes and communicates clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units, and projects. -Supports specialized ESL assessments. Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, provides progress reports as required. -Is familiar with our teaching philosophy and course curriculum About You: -Outstanding personal/interpersonal communication skills; openness towards cross culture environments. -Experience with technology in facilitating instruction. -Excellent organizational and neatness skills enthusiastic in teaching. -Willingness to be flexible in terms of teaching assignment within the school setting Qualifications: -Bachelor Degree or above -TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate (preferred) -Teaching Experience (preferred) -Native English Speaker from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK or United States -Below 55 years old (for Chinese visa purposes) -Clean criminal record Offer Package: -Competitive salary CNY 8,500 - 12,500/month (commensurate with experience and qualifications) -Accommodation allowance -International airfare allowance -Sponsor Work visa and support the application procedure -Medical and accidental insurance -Opportunity for quarterly bonus and other performance based incentives -Sponsored TEFL/TESOL Certificate for candidates who don't already possess one -Excellent opportunity for growth within the organization.
