Responsibilities:
Food Service Associates are responsible to create a pleasant, quality meal experience for patients. Prepare and deliver meal trays to patients according to diet orders.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
* Handles and prepares food in accordance with food safety regulations.
* Communicate with nursing and the cooks to provide accurate & quality meal service to patients & residents.
* Limited food preparation for café and patients, including therapeutic diets.
* Answer department phone calls and respond to requests.
* Operate the cash register and dish machine.
* Assist with putting away freight & stocking of food in kitchenettes.
* Maintains cleanliness & sanitary standards.
* Participates in department communication and teamwork.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
