Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Food & Beverage Systems Manager to provide strategic support for Food & Beverage (F&B) operations throughout the Xanterra Parks and Gateway portfolio. This position collaborates with the Corporate Director of Food & Beverage as well as on-site F&B teams to uphold consistent standards in guest experience, operational excellence, and financial results across all locations.
Serving as an essential liaison among field operations, vendors, and corporate departments, the Food & Beverage Systems Manager facilitates streamlined processes, optimizes system efficiency, and promotes the implementation and sustainability of best practices at each property.
Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
* Partner with the Director of F&B to develop and implement processes that enhance revenue, control costs, and improve both guest and employee satisfaction.
* Analyze operational data to identify opportunities in food cost, labor management, loss prevention, menu performance, and inventory control.
* Support cross-property F&B initiatives by coordinating communication and timelines between departments and locations.
* Conduct internal audits to assess training effectiveness, compliance, and operational consistency, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Systems & Analytics
* Build functional expertise in key company systems (e.g., CloudSuite, Orderly) to provide training, support, and guidance on best practices.
* Develop and maintain key metrics dashboards and financial tracking tools to monitor F&B performance.
* Use data insights to support decision-making, menu development, and operational improvements.
Training & Development
* Identify scalable training needs for culinary and F&B teams and collaborate with Corporate Learning & Development, on-site trainers, and managers to create and deliver targeted learning.
* Support onboarding and skill development for new F&B leaders and team members across front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
* Document, communicate, and reinforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to food preparation, guest service, safety, and revenue generation.
Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination
* Collaborate with Supply Chain, GPOs, equipment providers, and key vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, training, and support to F&B operations.
* Partner with property teams to align budgets, forecasts, and purchasing with operational goals.
* Identify and leverage emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and consistency across operations.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
* Stay current on industry trends and bring forward innovative ideas to enhance the guest experience and operational performance.
* Ensure alignment of corporate F&B strategies with property-level execution through effective communication and ongoing collaboration.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Associate's degree in hospitality management, culinary management, or related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of progressive F&B management experience in a high-volume, multi-unit, resort, or concessions environment.
* Strong financial and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving.
* Proven project management abilities with excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency with hospitality systems and technology platforms.
* Occasional travel to properties for training, audits, and initiatives.
* Based in Xanterra's Greenwood Village corporate office location.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annual depending on experience.
