Ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel, to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

* Report to work on time, as scheduled.
* Responsible for assigned shift, assisting in overall management.
* Maintain clear communication with essential departments.
* Assist in overall supervision of the department as outlined in manager's job description.
* Work in all departments of Food & Beverage, learning each area as outlined in training plan.
* Complete daily checklists in their entirety.
* Spot check liquor pars.
* Order daily supplies.
* Hold daily stand up meeting prior to each shift in the outlets.
* Compile and conduct daily training topics for associates, ensuring understanding through demonstration.
* Enthusiastically greet and converse with guests.
* Handle guest comments and complaints.
* Participate in interviewing potential new associates.
* Observe, teach, and correct staff's service, according to MOS.
* Assist managers in administering performance coaching & counseling.
* Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws including the Dram Shop Act - Prohibiting the sale/service of alcohol to intoxicated guests.
* Examine food preparation (checking accuracy, presentation, and timing).
* Examine beverage presentation (checking accuracy, presentation, and timing).
* Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

* Able to stand for extended periods of time
* Able to read and write English proficiently
* Able to lift and carry 20 pounds routinely, and up to 40 pounds occasionally
* Able to walk, sit, stand, squat and reach in the course of daily business
* Able to work outdoors and in extreme weather conditions when needed including heat and cold.
* Able to work quickly in a high-pressure environment, keeping a calm and polite attitude
* Bachelor's (four-year) degree is required, preferably in Hospitality Management or a related field, within the past 2 years
* Commitment to one year (12 months) of service at the home hotel
* Ability to transfer and/or relocate to any Omni property within the continental United States upon successful completion of the LID program
* Ability to work a flexible shift including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as this position requires a 50 hour work week
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations
* Excellent customer service skills, pleasant and positive personality, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize, well organized, efficient, and able to handle deadlines
