One California Responsibilities: The Floor Tech maintains assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition by performing specialized cleaning tasks, which involve operating heavy-duty equipment and using special cleaning equipment. Duties include: * Cleans assigned areas according to established standards and 12-step cleaning process. * Scrubs, strips, waxes and buffs floors utilizing automatic and multi-speed floor machines and other specialized equipment. * Maintains and cleans assigned equipment. * Arranges and/or transports furniture, equipment and supplies. * Documents and reports items needing repair and hazardous conditions requiring correction. * Stocks supply cart in assigned areas. Qualifications: * Must have a minimum of one year of floor care experience or more in Healthcare or Nursing Home. * High School Diploma or equivalent * Fire Safety card required. This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
