Responsibilities:

* All work must be performed in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with Company 

       Policy, local, provincial and/or federal rules and regulations and the Collective Agreement;

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
* Awareness and understanding of Environmental Policy (ISO 14001) and Quality Policy (IATF) guidelines and the position's responsibilities impacts on environment and quality;
* Performs work according to documented Work Instructions as per the training supplied
* Performs other duties as required by Manager/Supervisor to keep pace with changes in the scope of work.
 SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITES:

* Creates Pick Sheets according to information in CMS provided by Supervisor;
* Receives completed Pick Sheets and conducts a visual check to ensure accuracy, and checks and matches data in the systems;
* Prepares Bill of Lading and Customs Invoice (when required) for carriers/drivers;
* Checks Bills of Lading for accuracy and ensure all information is correct - ie: Trailer number, Pro Bill numbers and SCAC code before sending electronic ASN transmission to customer;
* Sends Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) upon truck departure;
* Retrieves reports for verification of receipt of ASN from customers;

Qualifications:

* Good communication and organizational skills;
* Excellent attention to details (accuracy is absolutely critical in this position)
* Strong data entry/typing skills
* Knowledge of methods of transportation used in shipping
