You will monitor security-related activity through cameras and desk systems, document incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and responders as needed. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, completing required logs and/or reports, and supporting security-related procedures for visitors, tenants, and vendors.
* Control access at the reception area by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and delivery records, and directing individuals to the appropriate contact or location.
* Monitor front desk systems such as cameras, alarms, and intercoms when assigned, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
* Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures, including assisting with notifications, documentation, and coordination with first responders.
Minimum Requirements:
* Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
* Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
* Have a guard card or license preferred.
* Have alarm panel experience preferred.
* Have access control or badge experience preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
