What You Can Expect: * Provides appropriately formulated aliquote of breastmilk, fortified breast milk, formulas and fortified formulas to the patient * Provides patients with basic nutritional meal plans including special dietary care menus * Orders and stocks inventory * Flex, PRN Qualifications: * Education: Associate's Degree * Experience: 2 year's experience Responsibilities: The Nutrition Center Technician, under supervision, provides patients with basic nutritional meal plans including special dietary care menus. * Provides appropriately formulated aliquote of breastmilk, fortified breast milk, formulas and fortified formulas to the patient. * Monitor and order supplies as needed for the preparation and labeling of breast milk and formulas. * Order and stock inventory for the department. * Adheres to all food hygiene and health and safety requirements in order to meet regulatory and company standards. * Document preparation steps and care based on standards of practice. * Communicate acccurate and pertinent information with patient, patient care providers and other members of the staff to faciliate effective and efficient patient care. * Handles basic issues using knowledge of procedures and policies. Refers ore complex issues to higher-level staff. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
