Overview: We are currently recruiting for a full time Fleet Mechanic to join our team. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package. Responsibilities: The Fleet Mechanic will perform maintenance associated with our delivery fleet, trailers and forklifts. Duties to include: * Monitoring and documenting all phases of vehicle maintenance. * Preventative maintenance and service of fleet vehicles at assigned intervals * Documentation of PM reports & equipment repair logs * Hydraulic and engine repairs This is a full time position with overtime. The hours during our peak season are 5:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Some Saturday hours required 5:00-10:30 during peak season. Hours are adjusted during off peak season. Qualifications: * Requires experience repairing gas/diesel engines and hydraulic systems. * Welding, torching and small fabrication skills is a plus * Must have at least 1 year experience working as a mechanic * Experience in repairing truck brake systems (including hydraulic and air), and electrical systems * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Must be able to lift 80 lbs when necessary * Must have own tools * Clean motor vehicle record * CDL preferred but not required * Must be able to work with minimum supervision
