Responsibilities:
* This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
* Selects and guides firefighters to perform as expected when called upon and will continually assess their readiness and performance
* Maintains daily awareness of fire inspections, fire services, inspection and testing of fire protection and alarm systems, firefighter training, and fire drills
* Completes the requirements in the PWS and IAW DoD regulations
* Submits all fire and rescue incident data using National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS) software
* Responsible for Fire Station daily operations to ensure personnel are well-trained and capable to perform their duties effectively and on short notice
* Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications:
* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum education requirement preferred; Associates Degree in Fire Science or eight years' experience in the field of work, or Bachelor's Degree in business administration or other related field and a minimum of six years' experience in the field of work.
* Must possess DoD/IFSAC/PROBOARD certification as Fire Officer IV, Fire Instructor II, Fire Inspector II, and HazMat Incident Commander.
* Must possess NIMS 100, 200,300, 400, 700, and 800 certifications.
* Must be US Citizen eligible for Tier 3 Secret Clearance
* Requires eight years of experience as a manager in an operation the size and scope similar to that of the NSF Redzikowo and at least four years' experience with an organized fire department.
