Financial Counselor

				Overview:

Responsibilities:

Performs analyses and communicates with customers to obtain required information for various types of accounts;  informs and counsels customers of all payment options;  coordinates and arranges settlement of accounts for balances due. 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Proficient in word processing and PC based spreadsheet programs
* Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people
* Basic knowledge of credit and collections procedures

Desired Qualifications:

* Medical Terminology
* Knowledge of applicable statutes, regulations, and laws both state and federal levels
* Working knowledge of credit and collections procedures in a health-related field
