Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team. This is more than just a reporting role; it's a high-visibility business partnership with direct exposure to senior sales and finance leadership. You will be the go-to financial expert for the NA Commercial team, responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and reporting on financial performance. This is a unique opportunity to not only manage the financial pulse of a significant portion of our business but to also reshape and enhance the role itself. Responsibilities:
* Take the lead in preparing and maintaining forecasts while identifying financial risks and opportunities within the quarter
* Conducts thorough pricing analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide recommendations to maximize profitability
* Serve as a strategic partner to leadership by translating complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives that explain the 'why' behind business performance and guide decision-making
* Detailed involvement in the preparation of annual sales quota and compensation
* Proactively identify and implement improvements to our forecasting and business processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
* Collaborate cross-functionally to translate financial data into actionable insights
* Support various finance-related ad-hoc projects
* Becomes the subject matter expert on financial modeling, variance analysis and data visualization
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
* Equivalency: Candidates with 3+ years of experience will be considered with 3 years of relevant Zebra experience, inclusive of participation in the FDP program
* Appropriate professional qualification / certification to practice finance in country / region preferred
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
* Advanced Excel and database skills
* Advanced experience with ERP systems: Oracle, OBI, SAP
* Prior experience of working within a Finance department is essential
Preferred Qualifications:
* Broad knowledge of accounting practices and principles
* High degree of accuracy
* Confident at working to deadlines
