Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team. This is more than just a reporting role; it's a high-visibility business partnership with direct exposure to finance leadership. You will be the go-to financial expert for the NA Commercial team, responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and reporting on profitability. This is a unique opportunity to not only manage the financial pulse of a significant portion of our business but to also reshape and enhance the role itself. Responsibilities:
* Take the lead on forecasting standard margin, building robust models to analyze and report on the key drivers of profitability including pricing
* Connect the dots between our revenue forecast and it's impact on margin for the quarter
* Proactively identify and implement improvements to our financial forecasting and reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
* Makes recommendations and works on P&L reporting and variance analysis
* Support ad-hoc projects, developing financial reporting for ad-hoc projects
* Collaborate cross-functionally and effectively communicate drivers of our margin forecast
* Design and production of key management reports with appropriate narrative and explanations
* Becomes the subject matter expert on margin and pricing and acts as part of the team
* Detailed involvement in the preparation and submission of annual budgets and quarterly rolling forecast for operations under your partnering responsibilities
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
* Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Finance or related
* Advanced Excel and database skills
* Experience with a computer based accounting systems e.g. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, ERP
Preferred Experience:
* Attention to detail
* Ability to plan ahead and manage tight deadlines and competing responsibilities
* Strong analytical skills
