Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

* Work closely with all departments including Product, Strategy & Business Development, Operations, Programming, and Marketing to provide business insights and recommendations on how to improve financial results
* Embrace Curiosity, Pride, Adventure, and Winning by serving as the Video Services Finance lead for strategic ad hoc financial analyses
* Coordinate and develop the monthly product feature prioritization process including aligning with various product managers
* Lead the continued advancement and utilization of Sling's subscriber Customer Lifetime Value (CLV/LTV) model 
* Perform financial calculations for product feature justifications including return on investment (ROI)
* Build and maintain financial models to evaluate, forecast, and continually enhance the effectiveness of the Sling Rewards program
* Construct detailed long-term project forecasts utilizing a bottoms-up approach for a product line
* Interpret financial data and communicate recommendations to department leadership and company executives
* Develop financial reports to monitor key metrics, interpret financial results, and seek out areas of concern and/or opportunity

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience 
* Experience evaluating financials for a subscriber-focused business preferred
* Experience with accruals, purchase orders, or other accounting processes

Skills and Qualifications:

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint with some knowledge of database basics (e.g. Microsoft Access, SQL) helpful
* Proficiency in Oracle tools, Hyperion, Onestream, and other financial tools helpful
* Well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials; experience presenting and working with C-level executives
* Ability to define problems, seek and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
* Experience with or ability to work in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment 
* Excellent teamwork skills with ability to establish productive working relationships with other departments and personnel
* Excellent organization and time management skills; results-oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible with the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines with frequent interruptions and refined priorities
