Responsibilities: * Supports the Program Finance function including budgets, forecasting, reporting, analytics, automation. * Provides input on strategic decision-making based on experience and knowledge of the business for affects to the programs supported * Prepare financial reports using calculations, data, and other information for supported programs * Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance of programs, compared to established goals and objectives. * Work closely with team members to consolidate budget and forecast financial performance. * Train and support new team members on current processes * Identify and research key variances. * Work with and secure highly sensitive and confidential financial data and information. * Continuously update skill set, expertise, and technical knowledge by attending the required workshops and courses. Qualifications: * Minimum Qualifications: * Education (One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required). * Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required * Experience: * 2-4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting. * Knowledge in the use of financial software systems a plus. * Knowledge of GAAP, Cost Accounting Standard and Federal Acquisition Regulations desirable. * Other Requirement: * US citizenship, required. * Skills & Technology Used: * A high level of knowledge in the use of a PC is required. * Advance experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other automated accounting systems usage is required. * Understanding of strategic planning and forecasting. * Understanding of database maintenance and design. * Understand database structures and data mining. * Knowledge of statistical analysis. * Ability to perform research and compile reports. * Ability to plan and track budgets. * Advanced computational skills. * Experience forecasting and analyzing data. * Experience in finance and accounting. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment. * Proficient in the use of computers and computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. * What We Bring: * At V2X we strive to be market competitive in our total reward offerings. * The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. * The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company. * USD $ 65,000 - 95,000 * Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States. * Please speak with a recruiter for additional information. * Employee benefits include the following: * Healthcare coverage * Life insurance, AD&D, and disability benefits * Retirement plan * Wellness programs * Paid time off, including holidays * Learning and Development resources * Employee assistance resources * Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time and may be modified at the discretion of the company, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
