				Overview:

The Financial Advisor will be instrumental in supporting the Inventory Management team by providing comprehensive financial analysis, modeling, and strategic insights. This role is crucial for aligning inventory management practices with corporate financial objectives as well as managing our quarterly Excess & Obsolescence SOX process.

Please note this position is expected to report to our Holtsville, NY office 3x per week.

Responsibilities:

* KPI Development and Reporting: Work closely with the Inventory Management team to create and refine key performance indicators and metrics for effective inventory tracking and reporting
* Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to aid inventory forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with corporate goals

* Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate inventory turnover, cost management, and optimization strategies, providing insights for improved decision-making

* Performance Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that highlight inventory performance, including variances against budget and forecast

* Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance: Own and manage our Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control related to Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams to assess the financial implications of inventory decisions and recommend actionable solutions

* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost efficiencies within inventory management operations

* Strategic Planning Support: Engage in scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support strategic inventory decisions

* Executive Reporting: Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of financial insights

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: 

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Appropriate professional qualification / certification to practice finance in country / region preferred
* 8+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance 
* Equivalency: Candidates with 5+ years of experience will be considered with 3 years of relevant Zebra experience, inclusive of participation in the FDP program

Preferred Qualifications: 

* Expert knowledge level of accounting practices and principles 
* Strong analytical skills 
* Advanced Excel and database skills 
* Advanced experience with ERP systems, Excel, PowerPoint, OBIEE, Business Intelligence tools 
* Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements 
* Experience in supporting Business Teams, preferably partnering with Senior Leaders
