				Overview:

The Senior Finance Business Partner serves as the financial point of contact and strategic business partner to functional organizations within the organization. In alignment with system financial strategies and tactics, leads stewardship efforts to meet financial goals and metrics.

* Understand GAAP accounting and how to accrue expenses monthly
* Educate clinical leaders on financial issues
* Be a true partner for Boise, Elmore and McCall from a financial perspective

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Presents operational and financial performance insights to business unit leadership and key stakeholders. Performs high value analysis and interpretation of key business metrics to aid decision making and operational planning. Provides operational context, highlights opportunities, and proactively makes suggestions for improvement.
* Understands and interprets operational processes and business context to translate financial and non-financial information into financial business cases.
* In partnership with business unit leaders, participates in the identification, development and implementation of finance interventions to accomplish business objectives. Leads margin improvement efforts, including labor management, expense management, process improvements, etc.
* Understands the operational and financial challenges of the business unit, and influences leaders to deliver options to meet current and future financial targets. Challenges the prioritization of initiatives and works to ensure financial benefits are realized.
* In collaboration with the Finance Business Partner team and system finance leaders, coordinates services for finance functions to provide consistent, high quality financial information reinforced by high quality financial insights.
* Prepares, analyzes, and reviews annual operating and capital budgets. Manages the capital planning process, facilitating prioritization efforts and coordination of procurement according to planned timelines.
* Develops solutions to complex problems, requiring a high degree of financial acumen and understanding of the business.
* Supports and maximizes the business units operational and strategic performance delivering services that ensure high level customer service. Builds strong rapport and trust with stakeholders and cross functional teams to achieve the credibility to enable challenging discussions around financial performance.
* Provides ongoing education for front-line leaders and business unit leadership, helping to build financial acumen across the organization.
* Leads special projects and participates on committees, workgroups, and teams, as assigned.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree
* Experience: 7 years relevant experience
* Licenses/Certifications: None
