What You'll Do:

As a Finance Intern at Group 1 Automotive, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of corporate finance. Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, you will work on real-world projects and initiatives that will enhance your skills and knowledge in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities include:

* Assist with financial analysis and reporting tasks.
* Conduct research on industry trends and market dynamics.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
* Assist in preparing financial statements and regulatory filings.
* Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the finance team.

Qualifications: 

* Junior or Senior status currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
* Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
