Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dynamic Finance Analyst to join our team in Japan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support business planning, forecasting, budget management, and various accounting tasks including invoice processing, accounts receivable/accounts payable (AR/AP), and bank transactions. Depending on your performance at our company, you may have the opportunity to be promoted to Head of Finance, Japan in the future.
Finance tasks with Planning and Analysis
* Work together with sales and service lead for Business Planning, Forecasts, Budget Planning.
* Work with team members for accounting daily tasks such as invoice issue, AR, AP, and bank transactions.
* Work together with global function, drive standardization and simplification of accounting daily tasks.
* Monitor service projects from an accounting perspective and validate progress and revenue recognition.
* Review and analyses partner incentives.
* Period closing activities, closing sales including variance and margin analysis. Closing PL, operation expense, depreciation, leasing activities, and tax related transactions.
* Reporting local number to global. Reconcile intercompany transactions for consolidate.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* Full-time work rights in Japan
* Full professional proficiency in Japanese and advanced to proficient English skills.
* Relevant work experience in Japan
* Over five years of accounting experience in a global company.
* Ability to work outside regular business days/hours as required (e.g. Monthly Closing/Year-End Closing per SoftwareOne's Global Calendar which may coincide with local public holidays such as Japan's New Year or Golden Week holidays.)
* Professional financial education.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Experience with local taxes and audits.
