Responsibilities:

This role will coordinate with external accountants, operations team, and asset management requirements to perform the day-to-day back-office finance and administrative function and be responsible for the financial reporting of PBSA assets in Barcelona. The successful candidate will: 

* Work based in Barcelona and report to the Iberia finance team
* Work with external accountants ensuring that the finance system links to the property booking systems
* Oversee business process providers and be the link with the onsite operations team
* Collaborate with the financial reporting process of the asset and
* Liaise with the Operations team in providing incisive information on business performance, identifying key issues and trends to enable business decisions to be made.
* Gather the required information and collaborate to ensure that all the tax reporting (VAT and Corporation tax) and company reporting requirements are met
* Assist with the annual audit
* Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable process
* Keep relationships with all main counterparties including administrators and tax advisors, payroll consultants, management companies in charge of the investment funds owning the building

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be:

* An experienced administrative/accountant with 3-4 years of experience (previous experience in PBSA/Hotels will be valued)
* Experienced in accounts payable and accounts receivable process
* Customer orientated with proven ability to develop close working relationships
* Enthusiastic and motivated team player with the ability to plan and execute tasks
* Flexible and able to work to tight deadlines
* Knowledgeable of Microsoft Excel
* Able to speak and write in English and Spanish
