Field Service Technician

				Overview:

Field Service Technician Needed

Full Time-$80-100K First Year

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting advanced CNC Lathes and Machining Centers, providing customer training on operations, and performing both warranty and post-warranty service. You will work independently from your home base, supporting customers throughout your assigned region, which will involve regular overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot CNC machines and accessories
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
* Conduct post-installation testing to ensure optimal performance.
* Train customers on machine operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
* Stay current with new product features and technologies.
* Accurately document all service work, including diagnostics, parts used, and resolutions.
* Travel frequently, including overnight stays, to various customer locations.
* Utilize diagnostic tools such as gauges, test indicators, and force meters.

Qualifications:

* A two-year technical degree (mechanical, electrical, or machine tool technology) or equivalent military experience.
* Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
* Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment.
* Understanding of PLC controls (preferred).
* Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic circuits and general computer literacy.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
