Overview: Location: East of Pittsburgh, PA Job Type: Full Time/Permanent Work Authorization: No sponsorship or 3rd parties The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for multiple Field Service Technicians for a full time role. This role will require traveling to client sites to support installation, maintenance, and repairs. Responsibilities: * Read and interpret schematic drawings * Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues * Willing to work overtime (including weekends) as needed * Required to travel to perform field service assignments as directed by management * Create and maintain field service reports and documentation * Maintain service equipment, general housekeeping and warehouse activities including loading and offloading of material, cleaning work areas, and keeping field service equipment organized * Maintain communication with customers, employees, and management. Qualifications: Education: 2 year associate or a specialized degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Electrical/Mechanical Technology or 3 years' related experience working in substations or a switchgear manufacturing facility. * 3 years' experience working in substations or a switchgear manufacturing facility * Experience supporting, installing, commissioning, performing maintenance and repairs of MV and HV Switchgears * Ability to read and interpret AC and DC schematic drawings * Experience in wiring, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical * Experience using cranes and forklifts * Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics * Mechanically inclined with the ability to use common hand tools * Basic computer skills, Microsoft office products * Ability to obtain a passport and be willing to travel out of country on rare occasions * Be able to pass a random drug and alcohol test
