Overview: Blooming Grove Stair Company is seeking a Field Measurement Specialist - Wood Stairs & Wood Railings. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being out in the field, interacting with builders and homeowners, and taking precise measurements that are critical to the success of our projects. If you've previously measured and sold windows, countertops, cabinets, or similar products, you'll find this role familiar and rewarding. Job Type: Full-time Location: Monroe, NYCompensation: Commission-based (average annual earnings of approximately $80,000) Benefits: * 401(k) with 3% match * Dental insurance * Health insurance * On-the-job training * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Day shift Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: * Travel to residential and commercial job sites to take accurate measurements for wood stair and wood railing installations * Communicate clearly and professionally with builders, contractors, and homeowners * Interpret blueprints and construction plans * Document and report measurements and site conditions using digital tools * Collaborate with our design and production teams to ensure seamless project execution Qualifications: What We're Looking For: * Experience in field measuring for construction-related products (stairs, windows, countertops, cabinetry, etc.) * Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings * Comfortable working independently and managing a schedule * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Bonus Points For: * Experience in stair or railing installation * Familiarity with CAD or measurement software * Background in construction or carpentry
