Responsibilities:
This position is primarily responsible for serving guests and maintaining superior service standards in an upscale dining environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend TIPS Certification Class
- Possess knowledge of all menu items and preparation
- Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
- Garnish and decorate dishes preparatory to serving
- Observe guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed
- Operate P.O.S. system to standard
- Observe local health and sanitation codes
- Tip out assigned support staff as required to standard
- Utilize up selling techniques to enhance guests dining experience
- Possess knowledge of wine list, drink specials, and daily specials prepared by chef
- Make coffee and tea as required
- Perform all assigned side work
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to deliver quality guest service to external and internal guests
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years of age
- HS Degree or equivalent work experience related to the nature of the position
