Responsibilities:

The Fairbanks assistant server is responsible for keeping the dining room clean and assisting servers in providing a high level of guest service.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.

- Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.

- Observes local health and sanitation codes

- Makes coffee and tea as required

- Performs all assigned side work

- Assists servers in garnishing and decorating dishes preparatory to serving.

- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to deliver quality guest service to external and internal guests 

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Must be age 21

- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience related to the nature of the position      

- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written and/or oral instructions                                                      

- Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests                                                                                

- Certificate of Food and Service Sanitation/willing to obtain                                                                                

- Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English                                                        

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time                                                                                                                        

- Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs
