Responsibilities:
* Perform intermediate-level maintenance and repair work on physical structures, mechanical systems, utilities, HVAC components, and facility grounds.
* Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment and building issues to ensure safe, continuous operations.
* Use a variety of hand and power tools to support daily maintenance needs.
* Follow safety, regulatory, and customer service standards to provide a remarkable experience for patients, visitors, and team members.
* Work collaboratively with Plant Engineering Services leadership and facility staff to maintain a clean, safe, and functional care environment.
* Complete department-specific competencies and skills validations as required.
Qualifications:
Education
* High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience
* Two years of plant operations or general maintenance experience in a healthcare facility or similar work environment, required.
* Four years of experience in a similar environment, preferred.
Licensure
* Valid driver's license, required.

* Ability to meet departmental competency and skill standards.
* Strong customer service mindset with the ability to work well with individuals at all levels.
* Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively.
* Commitment to teamwork and supporting a safe care environment.
Preferred Skills
* Broad knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
* Familiarity with reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
* Understanding of building, fire, and electrical codes, as well as Joint Commission Environment of Care standards.
