Enterprise Mobility is seeking an experienced facilities management professional to join our team. In your role as a Facilities Specialist, you will provide world-class support to our high-volume and complex retail rental facilities by always maintaining them in like-new condition. You will support the retail management team, and all activities related to the proper maintenance and care of our facilities. The Facilities Specialist will be based out of our group office in Calgary, AB.; ensuring repair and maintenance issues are completed effectively, economically, and efficiently together with managing and supervising remodeling activities, capital improvements, efficiency programs, company-wide initiatives, and general participation in all aspects of maintaining first-class facilities.

The pay for this position is $70,000 annually and includes a company car as well as many other benefits. This position will be based out of our Group headquarters in Calgary, AB. with travel throughout the province. Schedule will be approximately 45 hours Monday through Friday during our retail branch business hours.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

* Oversee retail rental facility repairs, preventative, recurring and reactive maintenance. Oversee renovations, capital improvement projects and other facility management activities. Management of vendors, contractors, suppliers, and internal Building Maintenance Technicians in effective execution of facility management activities to drive successful outcomes consistent with organizational standards; ensuring all assignments produce quality results within targeted deadlines and budget constraints.
* Resolution of complex facility problems through planning, assignment of resources and execution of cost-effective decision making.   
* Prepare scopes of work, source and evaluate vendors, reviews bids, negotiate proposals and contracts, for best value facility services, repairs, maintenance and improvements.
* Conduct routine inspections of the retail rental facilities, to ensure like new condition for each facility as well as provide a safe, compliant and comfortable environment for customers and employees.
* Train and educate retail management on property and facility related topics to improve store operational performance and serves as a primary escalation on key facilities and property management issues. Communicate regularly with store managers and senior leadership regarding facility related updates, issues, and improvements.
* Develop and implement facility management strategies and plans to optimize the use of resources and improve operational efficiency.
* Manage facility budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and implementing cost saving measures.
* Implement and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, and standards related to occupational and facility environmental, health and safety. 

Required Skills and Behaviors:

* Extensive skills in planning and project management and meeting multiple deadlines.
* Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
* Ability to work independently, self-manage and lead in a continuously changing environment.
* Skilled in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions from a variety of resources.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to describe findings / recommendations.
* Strategic, broad thinker; Inquisitive nature; Energetic, highly motivated and positive outlook.
* Must be highly organized.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

* Diploma required. Relevant certifications such as Certified Facility Manager or Facility Management Professional are encouraged.
* Minimum 2+ years' Facility Management experience in multi-unit retail environment with demonstrable experience in:
* Facilities maintenance methodologies with an understanding of preventive and reactive maintenance practices together with proficient knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems 
* Construction methodologies together with proficient knowledge in construction trades including drywall, framing, masonry, finishes, and lighting.

* Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
* No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years (ie., DUI/DWI)
* Must be authorized to work in the Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Additional Qualifications

* Ability to work 45 hours a week in-person.
* Travel throughout the province to retail rental branches. Position is eligible for company-supplied vehicle.  
* Ability to respond to non-working hour emergency situations and fully coordinate any work needed to resolve the emergency.
* Working outside in all types of weather and in a typical office environment
* Must be able to lift up to 10lbs.
