From securing our campuses to making sure our events go off without a hitch, Facilities is the human face of our company's well-oiled onsite operation.

Responsibilities:

The Facilities Tradesman I is responsible for multiple areas in the site which includes shipping and receiving, delivering packages received, and security system administration and maintenance.

The essential functions of this job position include, but are not limited to, the following tasks and duties an employee encounters while performing this job. Key Responsibilities:

* Load and unload delivery trucks
* Prepare packages for delivery; track incoming packages and deliver to their destination
* Operate security system and equipment, to include minor repairs and maintenance
* Assist in the mail room to gather and prep outgoing mail; sort and deliver mail as needed
* Responsible for site badge coordination and access control
* Performs routine maintenance activities
* Must maintain their work area in a clean and orderly manner
* Uses existing procedures to solve routine problems; has limited discretion
* Use tools and equipment as directed
* Read and interpret documents such as operating/maintenance/procedure instructions and safety rules
* Write routine reports, use email and basic computer skills

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred; two (2) years related customer service/technical support experience and/or training preferred 

Skills and Qualifications:

* The employee will need to regularly interact and communicate with others, including but not limited to, face to face communications, over the phone communications, and email & chat messaging communications
* Must be able to comprehend the subject of the communication and take appropriate action, if necessary
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, read and interpret, documents and instructions; frequent identification of letters, numbers, and symbols in a technology environment
* While performing the duties and essential functions of this job, the employee is exposed to computer equipment and noise levels of a typical office environment, with the requisite level of noise associated with 50 or more employees working in the same physical location
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk to internal customers and other employees and hear speech from customers and other employees

Scheduled Weekly Hours:
Monday - Friday 

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Additional hours or shifts may be required if facilities needs arise or change)
