Responsibilities:

Responsible for the supervision of all food service personnel on their shift. Oversees the day to day activities, develops work schedules and assigns and coordinates work of employees in a highly structured food service environment. Assists Food Service Manager in ordering, receiving, shipping, accounting, food inventory, rotation and quality control in the dining facility. Work Schedule: 4 day/10-hour shift, which may include swing and mid shifts.

Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Train workers in food preparation, customer service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
* Supervise kitchen and dining area activities.
* Resolve customer complaints regarding food service.
* Promote progressive cooking techniques among all food service personnel.
* Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards of service and complete disciplinary write-ups, as needed.
* Specify food portions, production and time sequences, and workstation/equipment arrangements.
* Other duties as assigned.
