Responsibilities:
At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a talented FEG Engineer to join our dedicated team at our office located in Vikhroli, Mumbai.
Position Responsibilities
* Make and maintain DCI for the assigned project.
* Design of pressure vessels, reactors, and heat exchangers. columns as per ASME and TEMA.
* Design of atmospheric storage tanks as per API.
* Work on software like Pvelite, Cadem, and AutoCAD.
* Checking of data sheets specification done by others
* Make enquiry specifications, TQ, TBA, TR, and vendor drawing review
* Co-ordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
* Maintain quality compliance documentation.
* Attend all internal and external meetings with the client, vendor make and MOM.
* Follow up with the Vendor for offers, vendor drawings.
* Perform stage Inspection as well as final inspection based on the requirement.
* Coordinate with the site team to ensure commissioning
* Adhere to the scheduled dates for various deliverables and tasks.
* Maintain all the documentation for Quality procedure, such as checklists, Squad check, comment trend log, and any other documents.
* Make specifications and data sheets for utility equipment like centrifugal pumps, chillers, and utility compressors.
* Discussions with client and vendor for capacity finalization, design review, and technical comparisons.
* Work out budgetary costs for utility equipment and operating cost comparison.
* Make technical bid analysis and technical recommendations for utility equipment.
* Review of vendor drawings such as pump data sheets, general arrangement drawings vis-à-vis approved equipment lists, P & IDs.
* Make mark-ups for the utility equipment layout and get the drawings made from CAD designers. Checking drawings made by the CAD designers.
