Responsibilities:
This position will provide operation and maintenance support for facility HVAC systems at White Sands Test Facility (WSTF).
This Union position is located at the NASA/White Sands Test Facility in Las Cruces, NM. We offer a competitive wage, pension plan, leave/health benefits, and 401 (k). We are looking to hire the right person in the right place! Consider joining our team.
Pay Rate: $40.90/hourly

Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Be able to apply technical knowledge to solve problems that typically can be solved solely by properly interpreting manufacturer's manuals or similar documents in working with equipment.\
* Be able to operate, maintain repair, install, adjust, and troubleshoot all types of air conditioning equipment including controls and electrical power to such equipment.
* Develop a working knowledge of the functions and operations of the operational equipment, systems, and controls at WSTF.
* Perform additional related duties as required.
Accountable for:
* Must be able to perform duties consistent with the classification as assigned by management. Must be able to work with minimal or no supervision after receiving work instructions.
* Must be able to perform task working as a member of a team with other classifications and providing technical guidance to lower-level positions as required by management.
* Providing quality and timely support services.
* Impact on cost of operations and equipment, work must be performed efficiently, safely, and to the required standard.
