Responsibilities: Don't take our word for it, click HERE to listen to our Team Members and why they chose Penn National Race Course! * Greet guests warmly and promptly with eye contact and enthusiasm while providing quick and efficient service. * Handle guests' money transactions quickly and efficiently in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals. * Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures within Food & Beverage department at Hollywood Casino. * Knowledge of and strict adherence to PLCB and RG standards. * Accurate and efficient use of POS system. * Knowledge of all daily specials and menu items and their preparation. * Handle any guest complaints and resolve them quickly and courteously. * Answer guest questions and direct concerns to appropriate member of management. Qualifications: - We will provide any necessary training for this position. - Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English. - Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests. - Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions. - Must have the ability to perform basic math skills. - Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations in a positive, courteous manner. - Basic computer knowledge. - Must have the ability to clearly visualize and comprehend the use of a POS system. - Must be able to obtain RAMP certification.
