Responsibilities:

* Responsible for receiving orders and payments for food, beverage and retail items in a prompt and courteous manner
* Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures within Food & Beverage department at Hollywood Casino. 
* Knowledge of and strict adherence to PLCB and RG standards 
* Accurate and efficient use of POS system 
* Keep work area neat, clean and restock assigned station at end of shift to have ready for start of next shift in accordance with Department of Health standards.  Responsible for emptying trash receptacles in accordance with venue guidelines. 
* Responsible for clearing and sanitizing all tables after the occupying guests vacate them.  Responsible for removing dishes from tables and returning to dishwasher 
* Greet and verbally acknowledge each guest and escort to seat promptly  
* Maintain communication with servers and inform them when a table in their section has been seated 
* Responsible for answering telephones and taking reservations if necessary.  Verify reservation if required, before seating guests 
* Responsible for seating guests according to established rotation procedure, distribute menus, and explain daily features 
* Knowledge of all daily specials and featured menu items and their preparation.  Maintain communication with kitchen regarding "86 board" and availability of featured items 
* Handle any guest complaints and resolves them quickly and courteously.  Answer guest questions and directs concerns to appropriate member of management  
* Complete knowledge of all menu items and how each item is prepared 
* Participate as a team member with all servers, buspersons, cooks, supervisors, and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age 
* Previous cashier experience preferred
