Dignity Health Medical Group - Sequoia is seeking an experienced, team-oriented Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) interested in joining our busy Express Primary Care Clinic in beautiful Half Moon Bay, CA. We are a growing multi-specialty group and affiliated with Sequoia Hospital.We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.

Compensation/Benefits Include:

* Guaranteed Salary up to $140k per year

Responsibilities:

 Patient Assessment and Diagnosis

* Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive health histories and physical exams.

* Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions commonly seen in an urgent care setting.

* Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, imaging, and other relevant procedures to support clinical decision-making.

 Treatment Planning and Patient Care

* Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and urgent concerns.

* Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and interventions in alignment with current practice standards.

* Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and health maintenance strategies.

 Team Collaboration and Coordination

* Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

* Consult with specialty providers and refer patients when appropriate to ensure comprehensive treatment.

* Facilitate smooth transitions of care across urgent care, primary care, and specialty services.

 Clinic Operations & Community Engagement

* Provide care in a high-acuity urgent care environment with enthusiasm, compassion, and efficiency.

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinic growth and performance goals.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

* At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Primary Care and Pediatrics
* A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
* Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
* Completion of state mandated educational courses

Preferred Qualifications

* Bilingual - English and Spanish
