Responsibilities:

As a Wok Cook, you will,

Shift: Ranges from 4:00pm- 2:00am 

Pay: $17.00 per hour plus tips (Avg. $20- $50 per shift)

* Produces high quality food and specialty beverages for banquets, ViP Services, special events, receptions, and in support of a la carte restaurant operations.
* Maintains productions, time/temperature, and waste charts.
* Ensures all menu items are maintained and consistently stocked/rotated.
* Stores all foods at correct temperatures.
* Dates/labels all food items according to established procedures.
* Prepares hot and cold food items according to departmental specifications.
* Stocks production area for efficient daily operation.
* Prepares large and small batch recipes as assigned.
* Demonstrates proper garnishing techniques in preparation/presentation of a la carte items.
* Prepares food for the utilization by teammates in the production of a la carte and special event foods.
* Maintains a clean, neat, and sanitized work/kitchen area.
* Sets up and stocks workstation; cleans and maintains special event food areas.
* Provides feedback to Chefs on quality of incoming goods.
* Reports product shortages, equipment issues, and safety concerns to Chefs.
* Works live action food stations (carving, sautéing, and other culinary techniques).
* Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
* Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Minimum two (2) years of work experience in high-volume buffet/banquet production operations.
* Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Must have basic reading and math skills for recipes and measurements.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
* Demonstrated ability to prepare a wide variety of food items, to standard, in a high-volume, fast-paced operation.
* Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the application of sanitation procedures.
