Overview:
Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO). We provide Phase I-IV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Responsibilities:
* Liaise with event management vendors on logistics, display/exhibit development and maintenance, and show services management;
* Negotiate agreements with conference production companies to maximize the value of Medpace investment;
* Work collaboratively with content marketing team to build and execute promotional plans for events; work with graphic design team to develop effective conference support materials - print, digital and large format;
* Attend select events to provide on-site coordination and leadership (
* Prepare and deliver periodic event ROI reporting and strategize for continuous improvement;
* Plan and coordinate internal meetings and events for Business Development and Marketing Department;
* Work closely with Medical, Clinical Operations, Business Development, and other key functional areas to identify conference attendees and coordinate Medpace presence; and
* Complete other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related;
* 3 or more years of relevant event/tradeshow management, marketing, or communications experience. Experience in the life science / clinical development industry is a bonus;
* Willingness to work onsite at our world-class clinical research campus in Cincinnati, Ohio;
* Willing to travel - estimated less than 10% but may fluctuate during peak seasons;
* Extreme attention to detail - the ideal candidate is a self-described perfectionist, with a keen eye for identifying little details to enhance experiences, and the confidence to take quick action to identify and correct issues or take advantage of opportunities; and
* Positive discontent - the ideal candidate will proactively seek opportunities to elevate our presence and improve upon prior successes.
