Overview:
CORT Events is seeking an experienced, full-time outside sales professional from the hospitality industry who is proficient in both hunting and account management, enjoys networking, and has an eye for design and details.
The Events Account Executive develops business relationships and grows revenue by serving as a brand ambassador and event rental industry expert. We serve as trusted advisors to our customers who need short-term rental furniture for hotel, corporate, sporting, marketing or other events.
This is an outside sales position and could include driving up to 5 days/week. Minimal overnight travel required. We are seeking candidates the Boston area.
Pay: $50,000-$60,000 / per year plus uncapped commision. OTE $100,000 - $150,000 / per year.
Responsibilities:
* Achieve market share growth and meet monthly sales goals through prospecting for new business, identifying ways to grow existing relationships, and promoting new products or services
* Network and build relationships through attending industry events, entertaining clients, and representing CORT by serving on committees or industry panels
* Collaborate with sales support, operations and asset management teams to ensure successful events and seamless client experiences
* Maintain accurate account records in Salesforce and work pipeline through full sales cycle
* Leverage virtual tools, social media, design platforms, and event space planning software
* Present Value Based Solutions to key decision makers both in person and virtually
* Take a collaborative sales approach, working with clients on events from start to finish
* Serve as a product knowledge expert
* Present design ideas
* Problem solve and offer creative solutions
* Ensure successful deliveries
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years outside sales experience
* Previous sales experience in the hospitality/events industry preferred
* Strong CRM experience, Salesforce preferred
* Experience with floorplan design software such as AllSeated is a plus
* Exceptional presentation, problem solving, and customer service skills
* Solid time management and self-organizational ability; Self-motivated
