Responsibilities:
The successful Event Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing sales revenue by building strong relationships with 3rd party customers, internal and external vendors, and key stakeholders. This influential leader will be fundamental in recognizing business opportunities to drive overall revenue for CIBC SQUARE including The Park, and its food hall TABLE Fare + Social.
This is a full time position reporting to the Community Engagement Manager. As Event Sales Manager, you will work closely with the Property Management team to develop and implement the strategic marketing plan for the asset. You will focus on 3rd party bookings to drive foot traffic, increase tenant sales, connect with the communities we serve, and elevate the overall brand of CIBC SQUARE. There will be occasional weekend, evening, and holiday work required when events are scheduled.
Marketing - Sales Generation
* Secure business through an initiative-taking, consultative sales approach, utilizing outreach tools and methodologies.
* Collaborate with the Property Management team to develop a comprehensive event sales strategy and marketing collateral aligned with budget allocation.
* Respond to queries and prepare quotes in a timely manner, including those submitted through the website, venue booking systems, or other sources.
* Manage a pipeline of prospects and key industry contacts while proactively seeking new opportunities.
Event Management
* Manage all 3rd party booking queries & consultations.
* Conduct tours of all bookable spaces including TABLE food hall and The Park.
* Issue quotes and manage all 3rd party booking forms.
* Coordinate space configuration requests, security, and janitorial requirements.
* Manage a calendar of events, client invoicing, and post event follow-up with clients.
* Work with the Property Management team to streamline all building wide events.
Relationship Management
* Deliver top-notch service by cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers, venue personnel and various departments.
* Thoroughly research and understand customer history and previous experiences, to create more personalized customer experiences.

Minimum Requirement include:
* 8+ years of relevant industry experience in Hospitality, Venue Management, Property Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or Brand and Retail Marketing.
* 5+ years' experience in event management, strategy, planning, execution, and promotion.
* Event sales experience or exposure.
* Sales generation expert who is equally as proficient in event management and execution, with a proven track record of managing both.
* High energy, adaptable, and self-directed with a proactive approach.
* Superior communication skills both verbal and written.
* Knowledge of industry best practices.
* Digital marketing experience with the ability to manage social media, SEO, data analytics, and content creation.
* Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 + Bonus
