Cloud Security Specialist - AWS/Azure
SoftwareOne
Scope: Full-time | Office: Colombia | Remote
How a day to day would look like in this role:
* Deploy and maintain secure cloud services: Ensure AWS and/or Azure environments are running securely and efficiently, following best practices.
* Continuously assess and enhance security posture: Review policies, procedures, and configurations; identify vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure.
* Collaborate across teams: Work closely with IT, development, and regional security teams to integrate security practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
* Monitor access and respond to incidents: Use tools like AWS IAM, Azure Sentinel, WAF, or GuardDuty to manage identity/access and detect/respond to threats.
Qualifications:
Profile: Degree in Systems Engineering or a related field with solid experience in cloud and IT security, Strong background in managing AWS and/or Azure environments and Proficient in cloud-native security tools and IAM.
Required skills:
* Cloud service administration and configuration (AWS and/or Azure)
* Identity and Access Management (IAM)
* Implementation of cloud security controls
* Experience with tools like AWS GuardDuty, WAF, Security Hub, Azure Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID
* Knowledge of compliance, data protection, and vulnerability analysis
Required Certifications:
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
* AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
