Responsibilities:
The Environmental Technician supports custodial and facility cleaning operations at NASA Stennis Space Center (SSC). This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and orderly facilities in accordance with company, customer, safety, and contractual requirements.
Qualifications:
Essential Job Duties:
* Perform custodial and janitorial services including cleaning hard floors, carpets, stairwells, elevators, entrances, restrooms, drinking fountains, glass surfaces, and common areas.
* Empty trash and maintain cleanliness throughout assigned facilities and work areas.
* Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and related custodial tools.
* Secure assigned vehicles, equipment, and work areas at the end of each shift.
* Follow established work schedules, work orders, and contract requirements.
* Report safety concerns, operational issues, accidents, or equipment problems to supervision promptly.
* Maintain compliance with all company, customer, safety, and environmental requirements while working on NASA property.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
