Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a entry level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Charlotte, NC Office.

Responsibilities:
* Develop, coordinate, and execute engineering methods affecting a wide range of engineering activities.
* Regular contact with professional engineering consultants, governmental agencies, involved communities and contractors in connection with complex and difficult engineering matters.
* Overall supervision and review of detailed and complex engineering calculations, plans, specifications and technical papers.
* Responsible for planning, designing and providing guidance in the development of water supply, transmission, distribution; wastewater and municipal infrastructure projects and systems.
* Develops and reviews conceptual drawings related to infrastructure design.
* Develops and reviews construction documents and specifications.
* Reviews and prepares calculations, permit applications, monitoring plans and progress reports.
* Responsible for studies, preparing designs, and contract documents for water/wastewater and municipal infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor of science degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering.
* An EIT Certificate and working toward PE license is preferred.
* 0-2 years of experience in the civil/environmental and municipal engineering field, with concentration in water/wastewater design is highly preferred.
* Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
* Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
