Responsibilities:

* Ensuring compliance with Vendor Relations procedures.

* Managing vendor pricing changes, invoicing issues, and cost reductions.
* Assisting in the negotiation and strategy of vendor contracts.
* Learning the purchase order process and assisting on orders as needed. 

* Maintaining UWM's vendor contract database.
* Performing vendor due diligence and risk analysis.
* Working with Legal team to ensure the legal soundness of the contractual relationships between UWM and its vendors.
* Supporting the Director of Vendor Relations and Senior Vendor Coordinators.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent and relevant job experience.
* Have a commitment to continuous business improvement.
* Be capable of working closely with internal clients and vendors.
* Have effective planning, organizational and project management skills.
* Have the ability to offer feedback and ideas for various projects, and work as facilitator among multiple teams.
* Have a strong attention to detail, and also the ability to shift priority quickly based on business need.
* Have excellent written and communication skills.
* Have the ability to work independently.
* Be self-motivated and able to work well in a team-based environment.
* Onsite attendance required.
