Overview: Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an entry-level plumbing engineer in our Wauwatosa, WI office. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include: * Designing building plumbing and fire protection systems under the guidance of experienced plumbing and fire protection engineers * Preparing plans and specifications for bidding and construction * Developing 3D models of the building systems using Revit * Assisting with load calculations, system sizing, plumbing and fire protection equipment selection; and attending client meetings. * Travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position. Qualifications: Qualifications/Requirements: * The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all the following: * Working in an engineering, architecture, or construction firm. * Coursework in REVIT. * Coursework in building mechanical systems such as plumbing and fire protection. * International Plumbing Code requirements, ASPE standards, NFPA standards, and building construction materials.
