We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. The Lot Driver is responsible for moving and positioning vehicles to various designated locations between our properties for servicing, transport and/or rental. They will perform all daily responsibilities with a focus on the needs to have vehicles ready for customers in accordance with our high-quality standards. This position is located at 600 Rental Drive, Kenner, LA. 70062 The pay for this position starts at $13.50. We offer: * Employee rental car discounts * Training and development All schedules are based on a 40-hour work week ([5] 8-hour shifts) with weekends required. Shift Options * 5:00am - 2:00pm * 7:00am - 3:00pm * 12:00pm - 9:00pm * 4:00pm - 12:00am Compensation by shift * 5:00am - 2:00pm ($13.50/hour) * 7:00am - 3:00pm ($13.50/hour) * 12:00pm - 9:00pm ($13.50/hour) * 4:00pm - 12:00am ($14.50/hour) Employees receive a $2.00 per hour shift differential for weekend shifts, resulting in: * 5:00am, 7:00am, and 12:00pm shift: $13.50/hour for Monday-Friday * $15.50/hour for Saturday and Sunday * 4:00pm shift: $14.50/hour for Monday-Friday * $16.50/hour for Saturday and Sunday ***This is a Seasonal position expected to last a maximum of 180 days.*** Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, owning and operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries. Responsibilities: Automotive Detailer: * Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards * Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards * Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks. * Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate. * Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage * Fuel and stage vehicle * Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary * Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions * Responsible for wearing proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensuring cleaning, detailing, washing and sanitization supplies are available * Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches * Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations * Site appearance responsibilities to include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location Driver: * Drive the vehicles from return location to cleaning/servicing location * Drive serviced vehicles from cleaning location to ready line location and park for easy access by customers * Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as needed and directed by management * Deliver vehicles to other Enterprise locations off Airport property as directed by management * Ride with or follow drivers to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up vehicle(s) * Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years old. * Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years. * No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DWI/DUI) in past 5 years. * Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. * Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes to the location(s) listed above within 30 days of anticipated start date. * Seasonal employees may work for up to 180 days during a defined season. They must experience a 13-week break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or a regular employee. * Must be able to work weekends for the duration of the season.
