English Lecturer | University | Suzhou, Jiangsu Province

				Job Overview:
University teaching positions have the benefit of a light teaching load. You will only have about 18 to 20 classes over a five-day week.

School term: candidates should on-board in about late August. The last day of the school year is June 30. 

About Suzhou City:   

Suzhou is located in the center of the Yangtze Delta, just a short train ride to Shanghai and in the heart of China's "Golden Triangle". Jiangsu Province is known throughout China as one of the most beautiful areas, and Suzhou is right at the top of the list of attractions, thus earning its reputation as China's "earthly Paradise".  Taihu Lake, East Hill, West Hill and other scenic areas attract throngs of tourists year round, and its canal waterways have earned it the nickname "Venice of the Orient." 

With its mild climate and breathtaking scenery, Suzhou an attractive destination to visit or to settle down and is always among China's "Most Livable Cities."

Responsibilities:
*Teach classes of 25-50 students ;
*18-20 classes weekly (40-45 minutes each); 
*Some office hours will be required
*Teaching oral English, preparing class activities, preparing oral exams for students
*Monday - Friday (weekends off)

Requirements:
*Native English speaker from United States, Canada, UK, Australia or New Zealand;
*Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university;
*Teaching experience is preferred;
*TEFL/TESOL certification;
*A clean criminal record;
*Excellent physical and mental health;
*Must be able to commit to a one-year contract;

Remuneration:
*CNY 10 - 12,000/month (commensurate with the teacher's qualifications and experience)
*Fully furnished single apartment (on-campus)
*Flight reimbursement
*Z-visa and residence permit
*Health insurance
*Summer and Winter holiday, about 2.5 months in total
