Responsibilities: * Completes schematic capture and net list generation of electrical designs using the Altium Design tool * Develops printed circuit board (PCB) layout of complex multi-layer and rigid flex circuit board designs * Completes PCB Gerber file generation, ordering, and design file coordination with fabrication house * Drives PCB development for prototype/proof-of-concept for electrical designs * Completes surface mount component rework of printed circuit boards and component replacement as needed Qualifications: Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: * Knowledge of electrical design implementation to meet EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) standards * Knowledge of schematic capture and PCB design using Altium Designer * Solidinterpersonal skills in design collaboration with the electrical engineering team Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: * Knowledge of high-speed PCB layout design techniques/methods Education and Experience Required: * Associate's degree in engineering technology, electronics or related discipline Education and Experience Preferred: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (can substitute for up to 2 years relevant work experience. #LI-GM1
