Overview: Under supervision of the Engineering Lead, the Engineering Technician assists engineers with various duties, such as building prototypes, setting up test equipment, preparing documentation, updating CADD/CAM files, maintaining technical drawings and specifications, and conducting general troubleshooting of systems and equipment Responsibilities: * This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. * Assists engineers with various duties, such as building prototypes, setting up test equipment, preparing documentation, updating CADD/CAM files, maintaining technical drawings and specifications, and conducting general troubleshooting of systems and equipment. * Perform other duties assigned. Qualifications: * Education: * Bachelor's degree * Certifications: * CADD/CAM * Experience: * 5+ years of experience in Engineering, or related field * Experience with CADD/CAM systems. * Other Requirements: * Technical drawings * Troubleshooting of systems and equipment. * Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports. * Knowledge of environmental regulations related to vehicle maintenance. * Skills and Technology Used: * Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities * Valid driver's license * Willingness to work in varied weather conditions on a remote island. * Ability to respond to emergency situations including after-hours calls.
