Responsibilities: The Engineering Tech V will conduct tests and resolve problems with machinery and equipment. Establishes service by studying system requirements, ordering and gathering components and parts, completing installation, performing acceptance test. Keeps equipment operational by following operational instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventative maintenance. Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records in the Government Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database (Maximo). Pay Rate: $56.23 / hour Qualifications: Essential Job Duties: The Engineering Tech V will conduct tests and resolve problems with machinery and equipment. Establishes service by studying system requirements, ordering and gathering components and parts, completing installation, performing acceptance test. Keeps equipment operational by following operational instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventative maintenance. Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records in the Government Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database (Maximo). * Analyzes systems, major units, devices, or equipment; conducts tests or experiments; analyzes results, repairs, or recommends corrective action to Project Manager. * Review guidelines, specifications, and developed designs. Analyzes technical data to determine applicability to design problems; thereafter recommend systems improvements. * Develop Systems tests to evaluate equipment performance. Determines test requirements, equipment modification, and test procedures; conducts tests using all types of instruments; analyzes and evaluates test results, and prepares reports on findings and recommendations.
