Engineering Team Lead with passion for Test and Quality

Are you a motivated and experienced leader ready to take on the challenge of managing a European team of highly skilled engineers?  

Would you like join a team who specialise in Product and Software testing to ensure quality assurance of our fabulous audio products?
Then this exciting role is for you!

Shure have lots of exciting projects in the pipeline, and we are looking for a talented Engineering Team Lead who will head up a group of Test Engineers in Edinburgh and Copenhagen.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will: 

* Lead and mentor a team of engineers in Copenhagen and Edinburgh, providing technical guidance and support, and driving continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging AI technologies and tools.
* Develop and implement effective testing strategies, utilizing AI tools and techniques, to ensure product and software quality.
* Coordinate testing efforts across the sites, maintaining clear communication and alignment.
* Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and scripts.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and quality assurance, to implement AI-driven testing solutions.
* Drive the adoption of best practices, industry standards, and new testing methodologies. 
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the testing function. 
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators and testing metrics.
* Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and developments in product and software testing. 
* Communicate and present testing strategies, progress, and results to stakeholders effectively. 
* Dynamic working split 60/40 between managing the team and completing engineering tasks.
* Demonstrate ability to manage successful teams and projects in a fast paced and multinational environment and encourage professional development within the team.
* Have a willingness to travel and encourage professional development within the team.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
* Proven experience in leading and managing a team of engineers, preferably in a multinational organization. 
* Strong background in product and software testing, including both manual and automated testing techniques. 
* Proficient in test planning, test case development, and test execution.
* Experience using AI tools and frameworks.
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile environments. 
* Exceptional knowledge of software testing tools and frameworks.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
